Make no apologies to the dead Ignore the open hands We'll give them an excuse to fight Illusions used to silence words Rendered mindless for the cause We'll give them an excuse to fight Chorus: Because We're going to break this city Tonight Stand in the grave of liberty Rivalry thrives and envy prevails We'll give them an excuse to fight No time for introspection This is the prelude to evolution We'll give them an excuse to fight Your future, needs this city Your future is in our hands

Uncertainty 01:43
What use is a voice, when it constantly falls on deaf ears? What use is a mind, when it is never put to use? How have we managed, to distance ourselves from each other And regress into our own bomb shelters to hide from the truth? Chorus I just can’t work out, how we’re so obsessed with ourselves Yet we have so many insecurities. Constantly cast stones before looking in the mirror Because it’s just so god damn easy Self inflicted destruction it seems. What is this void that we feel and how does a fictional character remove it? Why does pain come in waves, yet still remain so constant? How have we managed, to dig ourselves so deep inside these holes And watch others suffer at our expense?

Fire 02:12
(written by B-Ry) Is there anybody out there, Watching me tonight? Bright lights scream through deep darkness I sense alien stares, Haunting us along these streets, This world swallow us if it tried. CHORUS Fire, fire in the sky (It’s the truth I swear to you) I couldn’t have been more wrong I feel I've met my demise this evening swallowed me alive And when this realisation Had come to pass, One million miles away in an instant. The lights of sobriety shone in my face They shone right into my fucking eyes It’s the fucking truth

No amount of make up can disguise The apathy shown by the world Promoting images of power When we are at our weakest CHORUS What's the need for the Media Frenzy? There's no need for the False Dependency No amount of make up can disguise The devastating effect of money Supporting figures of power As death waits patiently Make up cannot hide Thousands of lifeless bodies Make up cannot hide Environmental decline

Silhouettes 01:58
She catches a glimpse of herself in the reflection of her mirror The wrinkles of old age are starting to come through Picture perfect youth will never last forever Now the clock has ticked over, there’s no return Chorus: And so she tells herself: "Just ignore everyone else, It's not who you are, it's what you've done." One can only be defined and judged by their actions An audience can only last so long As acceptance breeds self-deceit in the form of imitation A black sheep in one pack, but a white one in another Coming out of the darkness they’re spitting out wasted words She stands back and watches the silhouettes dance around And it's in this moment of clarity she develops some self assurance: There are just some things you can live without It’s not who you are, it’s what you’ve done.

Hung Jury 01:15
You can’t hide the guilt in your eyes; your face can’t always cover your sub-conscious But words are an easy way to lead the blind, when they have lost all touch Coasting through this life, avoiding your own reflection Another life left blank and empty, unfazed by consequences Hung Jury Time doesn’t always reconcile actions; it is also a catalyst for poor excuses Given the chance to make amends your pride still clouds your judgement And so agoraphobia, eases the chore of confrontation Their eyes still show pain but armies will always march. What are you going to do; well, they’re going to find you What are you going to do; without life?

Unconscious conflicts disturbing reality Concentrations beginning to fade Feeding from the inside out As strength is weakened by division PRE CHORUS Hidden agendas pave the way Minds are drowned out again CHORUS And now we're back to Square One Created our own demise Square One Apathetic about expectations Outcast by associates and trends Crossed arms answer many questions About a community restrained by Silence

He laughs to himself before the sine way rings out Distorted memories as the air begins to diminish Years spent, breathing in this artificial atmosphere Will finally lead us to this moment CHORUS And he said "So, it's time to celebrate life" Holding onto all he's got left He raises his glass of whisky "It's just you and me my friend" The wrinkles of reflection tell a different story Subjected to years of depression, spawned by fear Clutching onto the slightest glimpse of hope But prospects faded as time withered away And there he lay, devoid of any life Unable to subsist under the constant pressure When you are shrouded by the very things you worked your entire life for And at that given moment, You establish who you are by your mistakes, as reality disappears
